cup freshly-squeezed Sunkist® orange juice (Cara Cara orange or blood orange)

cup butter, melted

tablespoon Sunkist® orange zest

teaspoons vanilla extract
Optional Glaze

tablespoon freshly-squeezed Sunkist® orange juice (Cara Cara orange or blood orange)

Directions
Cara Cara and Blood Orange Bread
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Grease a 9-inch loaf pan.
- Combine flour, salt and baking powder, mix together in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix freshly-squeezed Sunkist® orange juice, orange zest, melted butter, sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Beat in eggs one at a time. Combine with dry ingredients and mix until well-incorporated.
- Pour batter into the well-greased loaf pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes.
- Use a toothpick to check if the bread is done. If the toothpick comes out of the bread clean, it is done. If there is dough on the toothpick, bake for a couple more minutes.
- Allow to cool before serving.
- Optional: pour prepared glaze over bread (recipe below).
Optional Glaze
- In a bowl, mix powdered sugar and freshly-squeezed Sunkist® orange juice.
