Ingredients
- 3 Sunkist® Mandarin Oranges, peeled and separated into segments
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- Skewers
Directions
- Thread 3 Sunkist® Mandarin segments onto each skewer and pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, water, and corn syrup, stirring until dissolved. Bring to a boil and cook without stirring until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Quickly dip each skewer into the hot sugar syrup, turning to coat the mandarins evenly. Let excess syrup drip off.
- Place the skewers on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool and harden for about 5 minutes.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the crisp, glassy sugar shell over juicy Sunkist® Mandarin segments!
