Ingredients

Simple Syrup

  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup water

Cocktail

  • 1/4 cup shochu
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Sunkist® Meyer lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 9 each mint leaves
  • 1 1/2 cup soda water
  • 1 Sunkist Meyer lemon wedge

Directions

Simple Syrup

  1. To make simple syrup, combine ingredients in a small sauce pan. Over medium-high heat, heat just until the sugar dissolves. No need to boil. Remove from heat and allow syrup to cool at room temperature. Once cooled, store syrup in a covered container and keep in the refrigerator for up to one month.

Cocktail

  1. In a tall glass filled with ice, measure in the shochu, simple syrup, Meyer lemon juice and mint leaves, stir with a long spoon.
  2. Top with soda water. Garnish with a Meyer lemon wedge and mint leaf.
