红肉脐橙,香茅和蜂蜜茶

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 Sunkist<sup>®</sup> Cara Cara Oranges
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 1 cup honey
  • 4 pieces lemongrass, chopped

Directions

  1. Thinly slice the Cara Cara Oranges and remove seeds. Discard the membrane and as much of the white pith as you can. Reserve the juice.
  2. In a medium bowl, add the sliced oranges and sugar and gently mix. Set aside for 2 hours.
  3. After 2 hours, add the lemongrass and honey, and transfer the mixture to a glass jar with an air tight lid.
  4. Store the covered mixture in the refrigerator for at least 4 days (and up to 2 weeks) before using. <br /> The flavor will improve over time. <br />
  5. When ready to drink, add 1-2 heaping spoonful’s of the Honey Tea Mix into a mug. Top with boiling water. Add ice if you want to enjoy it cold!
