Mandarin Glaze Salmon ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • .5 cup freshly squeezed Sunkist® Mandarin Orange juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tsp water (slurry)
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 cups steamed broccoli
  • 2 tbsp chopped chives

Mandarin Glaze Salmon

Directions

  1. Season salmon fillets with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and sear salmon for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan.
  3. In the same pan, whisk together Sunkist® Mandarin Orange juice, honey, soy sauce, and ginger. Simmer for 2 minutes, then stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken.
  4. Return salmon to the pan and spoon the glaze over the fillets, cooking for 1-2 more minutes until fully coated.
  5. Serve with white rice and steamed broccoli, garnished with chopped chives.
